Replacing BMW CDC with DVD Changer
 

Hello,

I wasnt able to find answer to this question anywhere, has anyone ever tried replaing the standard BMW changer (2 port version) with an after market version.

I ask because i would like to replace mine a DVD changer such as the Alpine DHA-S680P, which can play both DVDs and normal CDs, which would be ideal as there no room in my convertible to neatly house a DVD drive.

As i understand the Alpine DHA-S680P, uses a AINet cable, is there any way of interfacing the changer with the BMW widescreen etc.
