OEM backup camera and AV input
 
Hi I have just finished installing the OEM backup camera in my x3 , however when i have the module for the external av input connected the rear camera just displays a blank picture.....however when i have the cable taken out of the mix then the backup camera is fine........what can i do

is ther a module i can by that gives an av input and output however does not connect to the tuner

There is a av input for the backup camera you have to use this input because the backup camera is a NTSC (the American TV standard) and the other inputs are for PAL ( European standard). Thats why you get a blank screen.

Would you mind posting some pictures of the display and the camera position - I'd like to install the camera also.

Is the tailgate release button still available after the camera is installed?
