KrisL V29 - Pictures, but not text
 

Hi all,

I'm a bit baffled and hope someone can help me figure out what is going on.

I downloaded the KrisL modified version 29.11. It installed over my V28 just fine (no errors, anyway). The start screen is different and the mountain range is present. BUT, the text on the screen is exactly as it was before - Information instead of Points of Interest, etc.

I then downgraded myself to V23 and then back to 29.11. Exact same result.

I've checked the Navboot and my issue is (I'm guessing) that the language changes are applied to the American language, but my car only seems to be loading the English version.

Certainly the fix seems simple - load the American language file! But can someone please tell me how?!?!

If you don't have US as an available language on the Set screen, then either use my NavCoder to add US as a selectable language, or ask a friendly BMW dealer to do it for you
