Display shows option "Code"
 

Hi guys,

I just upgraded my system to MKIV in my 4.6is. The display now shows the option "Code". What is this for? Also, I swapped the radio module to a newer one so I can do XM Radio. I thought this would also give me the Aux Input (even though the wiring isn't in place for it yet) but I don't see this option on the screen. Does this only show up once the wiring is in place??

the "Code" is for you to input a code so the the X can`t be started.

works great if you have kids at home that will take the x for a drive while you sleep :bustingup

And the AUX option will show up when you select the 'Mode' button ONCE you install the Aux input cable. You won't see the option until you attach the cable kit.

thx. I see it on some peoples screen shots but it's ghosted out for them - any idea why? I got the Aux answer, it needs to be there :)

I believe CODE will ghost out once you start the vehicle. It is available before you go to position 2 with the key. The experts can correct that if that is wrong...

You're absolutely correct on this :) You can only access the CODE section when the engine is off and the key is in position II.
