Where to purchase 2007.2 MKIV Nav Disk

Hey all, I am looking to pick up a copy of this disk for my car. I have searched a few threads but everyone is saying to just get them from their dealer or NavTeq.

Does anyone know of any indy places to get them? Tried eBay but not much on their. Is anyone looking to sell theirs?

Need the "high" version (no i-drive). Thanks.

There are several on eBay. Do a search on "bmw nav* 2007* dvd"

http://motors.search.ebay.com/bmw-na...02007Q2aQ20dvd

Just be sure to get the version without the "CCC" logo.

Hmm. I saw 4 and all were CCC. Oh well, I'll keep an eye out for one

I have had people buy from EBay only to get a disk that does not work. best just to buy one from the dealer or Navteq. Besides, the majority of the ones on EBay are pirated.

What's this CCC logo thing? Is it only US DVD's that have this?

I was assuming that was for vehicles with iDrive, but maybe I'm wrong..

The CCC system is in the new 5 Series, new 6 Series, new X5, and new 3 Series. The new 7 Series uses the same disks as all the earlier nav computers (E53 X5, E38, E39, X3, E46, etc.)

The CCC system is in the new 2007+ MINI Cooper hardtops as well.

I can help if someone needs the 2007.2 HIGH version DVD. PM or email please. Thanks!

EDIT: I realize I am new to post here but I am all over on m5board.com and bimmerfest.com in case anyone was wondering. Thanks.

And that's the only place you should but it. All others may be pirated and you may get ripped off. Why would some one sell theirs???

No need to post in this thread if your going to be zero help. There are many reasons why someone may be selling theirs:

1) Sold their car and still have the disk
2) Just took out the factory nav for a 3rd party nav
3) Were given a free/discounted copy from their dealership
4) Accidentally purchased the wrong disk

And the list goes on..........

Thanks for the reminder. The reasons you've listed are reasonable except that in many cases people are selling bogas burned copies that don't work and people are buying them unaware of what they are getting. If you believe warning people about that is zero help then i can appreciate that. ;)
