Attn: Jochen - Any update on RR MK3 to BMW MK3?
 

I recenlty bought a MK4 for my 95 e38, and I just did a Nav retro in my 99 e38 and I am reusing the Range Rover MK3 in that car. I was wondering if you have made any progress on being able to load BMW firmware on the Range Rover MK3. I hope it can be done!!!

No, I gave up and sold the RR Mk3 to an RR owner. I couldn't find any way to load BMW OS on the RR nav.

ok, thanks for the update. Do you know where I can find a software update at least for the RR? I am running a pretty old version and it would be nice to at least update it

Thats close to the newest available. There may have been a 3-1/32 but thats all. No further SW was developed for the RR

oh really? ok, I assumed it was old software, which it may be but since there were never any updates I guess that makes sense. Well, thanks for the info at least I guess I could just sell my RR MK3 and get a BMW one.
