I am selling mine 2007-1 ( EU) so no help for you, however $200 is cheap, we have to pay $420 :)

You own a BMW and you can't afford Navi DVD? Come one spend the dough.
Just save $50 a month till it's done and save yourself the aggravation.

OBTW it's one DVD not Cd's correct??

The 2008 DVD ought to be out any day now. I believe that it has been about a year since Navteq released the 2007-2 disk. I sent Navteq an email over the weekend asking them when they expect the new disks to come out. I will post what I hear from Navteq.

When the 2008 disks hit, the prices for used 2007 disks will come down a little.

Just because I have money doesn't mean I want to throw it away. I hope the 2008's come out soon it's kind of werid to be in 2008 and still be selling 2007 DVD's.

Compared to the cost of other things you could buy for your X5. The Navi DVD is a cheep date that will give you an awful lot in return for the initial expense. In my opinion that's not in the least a waste of money.

The only other way you will get one is if someone is selling their DVD. That is they have 2007.2 and are buying 2008. ( not too likely you will save very much) Or you could get a copy (Not legal) either way your call.

Okay well the X5 I bought does not have a NAV disc so im not specifically looking for only a 2007.2 but that would be the best. Old versions that would work in a 2004 X5 with nav would be good too. If anyone has the old one's laying around let me know and ill make you an offer.

I have heard that one will not be released until Fall 2008 for the USA.

Check eBay, you can find used map disks there for a pretty good value. Just make sure it is an authentic disk-- the MKIV hates copies and it can cause it to lock up. Also, look for a disk that is 2005 or newer. Navteq significantly improved the road detail with the 2005 disks.
