If you have original coding in your car it will be set for region=Australia. So the auto-disappear of the accept screen may not work for your region.

All the US users on this forum have their region=USA, which may result in different nav behaviour.

Personally, I recommend using region=Europe, then you have no accept screen :-)

Good point, it might. I have no idea and I've never seen anything written to that effect. If it bugs you too much then get get the Reseler device and use NavCoder to remove it.

Am having a little trouble getting into the service menu to change the area to Europe. Have been using this method (second last post) http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-sy...hlight=v18+v22 but still can't seem to find the service menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have just recently upgraded to V31 in my 2005 with Nav.
Thanks
Colin.

hi,

I have one question about e65/66 , in which folder in Software v31 I can find file "navboot" for BMW e65/e66 to change for example: SPLASH SCREEN, LANGUAGE etc. Is this same folder ...V2\RR\0101\BMWC01S\app_sw\ as for mk4?

I do not think it works on the E65/66 NaviXX units.
