Navi symbol help - quick question from a noob, please help
 

2004 w/ Navi & DSP

I'm trying to add the little symbols on the map that show locations of restaurants, gas, atms, etc. I've been through the manual for the Onboard Computer and the Vehicle Manual and I cannot figure out how to add the symbols for the life of me. Can anyone tell me how?

The nav system will display the symbol for the last item searched for. So, for example, if you did a search for gas stations at your current location then it will display the symbol for gas stations until you do a search for something else.

lol, now I know why my nav keeps showing me golf courses all over the place! I thought maybe there was some telepathy involved! :confused:

Ahhh, okay thanks. I just figured since my previous Acura had navi that would show you restaurants, gas stations, atms, etc and the navi on my BMW showed similar symbols I could just turn them on/off like the Acura did.
