MP3 display
 

Guys, I bought a new BMW MP3 CD changer and is working perfect with my MKIV, but it does not show me the text, just the track number. when I click info, it shows the "audiotext" but that is it, not ID text or anything. what I'm doing wrong? 03 bmw MKIV NAV system e39

never mind, found it!!!!!:bustingup .

-turn your radio off
-urn it back on and inmediatelly press the SELECT button for 12 seconds
-will give you the radio varsion, NAV-MIN, Area and other stuff.
-Using the < > move to different functions.
-to select USA in Area, pre the "1" button, this will enable the AUDIOTEXT and the capability for Sirius.

-Turn the radio off to save.
-Turn it back on, and select CD, then press the INFO button.
-Will display NAV-MIN and AUDIOTEXT.
-Enable AUDIOTEXT, and that is it

Can you please tell me the model number of the CD Changer you bought. I have a 2004 E36 wirh MKIV and the BMW OEM CD Changer but it does not play MP3's. I would like to replace it with one that can play MP3's.
