iPod, satellite radio and Navigation

After initially hearing that satellite radio was not availible on my 2005 x5 3.0i (with navigation), i just got a call from the dealer saying that they could install it. additionally, after hearing an initial "no" about an Ipod hook-up, the audio rep at the dealership said they could put an aux jack into the nav panel in order to to hook up the ipod. Has anyone else gone down these routes for either sat. radio or ipod?? Anyone have any advice

thanks - does it all work well together? I am somewhat disappointed in my dealership (for this and many other things) for not telling me they could do this before the delivered the car. I would have had it done already. If you dont mind me asking -- where does the aux jack sit?
