Use the Map's of new 5 & 7 on E53

Hi all,

I need your help in the following:

I was trying to get latest map for GCC (Middle East) for my car E53 but I was not lucky. I managed to 2004 only.

A friend advised that it is better to use maps for newer BMW such as 5 or 7 series.

I think it will not work cause both systems are different (not MK's)

Is there a way to extract database files from these CD/DVD’s and insert this file on the one i have and make a fresh burn.

Thanks for the reply, but nothing in Navteq.
Any other ideas ?

If there's nothing on Navteq then there can't be anything you could use from any other vehicle.

Navteq thery are not authorised to sell direct to us.
Any constructive ideas.

Buy it from an Authorized BMW dealer.
They sell them as well. If they don't
have yours they can order it.
