Yeah you have to be careful with them. I made sure I applied a lot of force to keep the slotted portion of the screwdriver in the spacing so that it would turn. I slipped a few times but nothing much. I didn't want to skim any of the important things around them.

Today was my first day with the newly darkend in cloudy conditions and it is a bit dark so if you live in places like the U.K. or the Ameriacan NW or any place that has a lot of clouds for that matter, adjust it when it's cloudy. If it's bothersome on cloudy days then I may have to do this adjustment again come late fall and winter. Changing the contrast via the service menu did fix it but it's only temporary since that resets when the car is turned off.

Does anyone have a picture of what the POTS should look like from factory on an X5 screen?
