new professional nav system with hdd - experience for adding pois?
 

HI,

with the modell year 2009, the professional navsystem works with hdd and the new car were delivered without a navigation dvd.
Have anybode experience for adding pois to this system?

I think it is the same software like the professional navsystem with dvd - or?

Only people with experience are the manufacturer forget who makes the nav for the new cars. It's not VDO)

Map updates happen via the diagnostic system.....

thats sounds not good.
For a new disc update to the dealer - that isnt a good reason.
The vw navsystems works with hdd too, but a update is easy.
Buy the new nav dvd, insert the dvd and the data will copied to the hdd.

You mean CIC (which now goes instead of CCC)? I think it is not too much information about it 'cause it's just started....
