navigation problem

i have a 2003 x5 just bought second hand recently my navigation system only display the destination map and not the actual vehicle position is there anything i can do with that?or is it broken?

Go into the service menu and report the GPS receiver and antenna status

Service menu:
From the main menu, select Settings
Press and hold MENU and wait
