Navigation problem...
 

Hy, sorry if you dont understand something what i ask...

I have problem with my navigation, i have navigate 16:9 and i lose option navigation on my screen(but i still have mobile phone, TV, CD...)
My screen is look different before i have before different resolution, more colors(now i have Italian, German, English, Finland and some languages, before i have just German, and English)
My navigate computer now is turned of always, red circle, but yellow is on,(all that's happened when my battery is empty, then i start my car with help of other car) whats happening with my navigate, is it dead because i don't have option on screen for navigation?

The MK3's are really crappy about voltage drops and etc..

I have lost 2 by having a dead battery and a voltage drop.
Sounds like the MK3 is on the way out.

Now that I read your post again, sounds like the MK3 IS dead and your using the TV tuner for the display.

Is the CD spinning, can you hear it by placing your ear on the MK3?

Nav computer has crashed.
Try disconnecting battery, wiating 15min, then reconnecting
But Mk3s sometimes die when they crash. Replacement is the only option

If you crashed the mk3 by trying to load new Software, then it will be because you loaded software in Mode1 (wrong format). If this is the case, using a proper Mode2 Form1 OS CD will allow a new OS to be loaded and fix the problem.

But sometimes Mk3s just die...

I have MK2 i think...the navi is gone when i start my car with help of other car, i download nav sw32 and burn in mode 2, when i put him in navi comp, navi just after minute put him out, is this good softwer for my navi, or other i need? thanks for answer i hope that my navi is not dead

I don't think you can go that high with an MK2, try V17 or something lower, but I am unsure about the Max OS that an MK2 can take.

Ver. 21 or higher are all the same. 2-1/81.

I try replace battery for 10 minutes, nothing happend :( but wheen i put cd my cd is spinning after 10 sec navi put cd out, can someone put link for download correct update for my navi, please:thumbup:

i need instruction for update my navi:)

Imstruction:
1. Get image file, in Mode2/Form1 format
2. Burn image file using image burner eg www.imgburn.com
3. Insert OS CD into nav and follow on screen instructions

Note:
1. Battery in car must be good. If it goes flat during reflash you will destroy the nav
2. Make sure you make CD using Image Burning program. You cannot just copy the files to the CD, that doesn't work.

when i try to burn(V17.1) after burning on my cd i dont have nothing, why?(i use imgburn, magiciso, clone cd, nero)-always same:dunno:

No files on the CD? Something wrong with your CD burner or how you are doing it...

You have right my cd burner is not work good(i try burn movie, and nothing happend), i must try burn on my other comp, This week i go on trip, and i will back on weekend, i will post when i back is my navi work, Thanks a lot KiwiJochen for helping me;)

im back, but i still have sam problem, im now on other comp burn V17.1 and still when i burn in clone cd(v17.1 recomend clonecd) i still dont have nothing when iput cd in comp(but cd memory is full?) it seems that file is hiden, the new clonecd is difrent then before, i cant install older version because i have win vista:dunno:? can some one explaine how burn without this and what software V17, 18, 19, 20.... ??? i find out that my navi is MK3, what software is best for recover my navi?

Better you try to burn it with ImgBurn and Mode2CDMaker.

imgBurn dont recocnize that format(v17) because hi is specifed for clonecd

Don't both with V17. Use V31.

V31 also contains same OS for Mk3 nav.

it this good way go to a car, open trunk and door, put cd navi in trunk(v31) go in car put key in 1 step, and wait??? to me hapend when i do that just radio starts on, should i wait?(how long) before everything should i turn of monitor?

No. Do it this way:

Eject map CD from nav
Key on to Pos1
Insert OS CD
Follow on screen instructions
Loading of new OS takes maximum 5 minutes.

Make sure the car battery is good. A weak battery may cause problems when reflashing

my navi cd is eject always when i put him, navi try to load him, and put out(i dont have option for navi on screen-before i have) when i put os cd, navi try to load him, and put out after 1 minute, is my navi death? or i can save her with os cd?

Sounds like a mechanism fault

Try with an OS CD, but you may need to check the mechanical parts of the mechanism to see if it is properly loading and spinning the CD

my car now is in other town, because i cant see right now :( but im sure after i started my car with help of other i lose everything about navigation, and red light dont turn on(bad dattery-because i must start with help of other)
