Date and Time
 

I dont know if i have a problem or not, you may be able to tell me. i'am running 27.1 2008.2 and have just noticed that when i alter the time to the 12hr setting it also alters the date format to mm:dd:yy. if i set it to 24hr the date also alters to dd:mm:yy. i would like to set it to 12hr dd:mm:yy but seam unable as one alters the other, is this how the system works or have i got a problem. as yet i have not tryed powering the system down and rebooting, i thought i would ask first.

It's how the system works mate, I too would like the 12h and UK date, but its not an option, it's one or the other.

Thanks for the quick reply, just saved me powering the system down for no reason, must be a German thing.

American I think, they are the only ones who put the month before the day...

Every where else uses dd-mm-yy (or derivative), some of the others use the mm-dd-yyyy as well, but will use the other as well.

Only the US and China don't use (or recognise) what's considered the worlds standard date format.
