mkiv sat nav rebooting
 

hi all i have a problem with my sat nav at times whilst driving it goes into a reboot, screen goes blank then restarts any idea of what this could be ok works fine after reboot is this any cause for concern i have a mkiv dvd sat nav on my 55 plate bmw 325ci any one else experiencing this? updated to latest version v32.:(

First question... is your map disk an original or a copy? If it is a copy, try the original and see if the rebooting persists.

Reboots are often the result of the computer having difficulty reading the map disk.

try holding the eject button
 

If it's doing it frequently enough, or it won't boot at all - try holding the eject button down and see if it boots then?
