Help! MK IV Screed defaults to Menu
 

I've just purchased an 03' with the MkIV nav. My problem is that the screen defaults to the menu screen anytime the vehicle is on. I have tried just about every button and combination of buttons. I downloaded the Nav manual, but found nothing specific about this. I would prefer the screen to stay on the split screen with radio and RDS info on the left and GPS data on the right.
I updated my nav OS to V32 the other night, but that didn't change this issue.
Any help would be appreciated

press menu, then gps, then scroll to map, then select.

Then press menu, then FM, and it should stick, then press the map button, top right (it looks like a map,with a smaller map sticking out the side) this should then toggle between the map and the radio.
