BMW map CD High - covert Spanish to English?
 

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if its at all possible to convert a Spanish map cd to a English one? Is there a file I can modify or does the menus need to be recreated in English etc?

For anyone who needs to do this; just edit the:

/TPD/NCCBEUFNM_EU_20080214/INFO.PSC

& specify the appropriate directory.

You can delete all the other languages files and it will fit on a single layer dvd too

Your request is strange.
Why don,'t you simply select Spanish as the vehicle language? Theb everything is automatically displayed in Spanish - map,menus, telephone, instrument cluster, etc.

If you do not have Spanish as an available language, then visit a bmw dealer, or use my NavCoder to load the languages of your choice into the nav. Available lngs are D E F I ES with full vehicle support, and then others like NL RU for nav only (menu + voice)
