E60 Nav OS Information
 

I have an 05MY 530d with professional nav and bluetooth. I've got a few problems with BT nad my iphone working together, however in my mates newer car with the latest software it works perfectly all the time..

Is the E60 system similar to the E65? ie can I update the nav/os software myself with a cheeky CD or will I need to pay the stealer the £200 they say it will cost for them to do it?

I've done a few updates in the past on my old E39 software, but obviously things have moved on a little from there..

E60 nav software can ONLY be updated via the BMW diagnostic system

You have no choice but to use the dealer

Try and find a fault with it to get the dealer to update for free as a warranty claim :-)
