Recieving problems

As this is my first posting in here, I will start with an apoligy for any grammar- and spellingerrors. English is not my native language.

I have recently changeded the DVD-drive in my Mk. 4 naviunit. After some problems with the antennaconnection (Had to change the connector on the cable) I got the unit to work fine.

But every time the key has left the ignition, The Mk. 4 can not se the "birds" and the GPS-sign in the upper right corner is gone. Then I have to unload and reload the disc and when that is done the sattelites are vissible to the unit and I can find my way again.

WHY ?
