MKIII->MKIV questions
 

Hello,

I have a 2002 Range Rover with a MKIII nav system. I really want to upgrade to the MKIV system, however I don't know if it will work with my display. The display and buttons are unique to 2001-2002 Range Rovers. It is a 4:3 display with 4 buttons and a rotary dial. See the display at the following link. The system is obviously the CD based MKIII system with what seems like a stripped down and basic version of the BMW system. I don't care if I have a BMW splash screen, but if there can be a LR screen that would be nicer.

Does anyone know if this display will work with the MKIV system, and if I can upgrade my MKIII to the BMW firmware for the time being until I can purchase a MKIV system.

If there is anyone in the Buffalo, NY area who would be willing to let me test their MKIV system that would be amazing!.
