So that makes sense with what I said. Since BMW activates Assist on new cars and maintains it for free for 4 years, it should be there I think.

Yes, although the numbers would not be deleted even if the Assist contract ended.

I'm not sure about that. Here's the confusing part... my Assist is no longer active, however I still can initiate a call using the SOS button, which transmits my position and makes a call that results in a voice message saying that I don't have a current account and if I want one to say so or call a certain number. And given all that, the numbers are all deleted in my menu.

One other strange thing is that while the OP telematics settings screen says "3er Limousine" b/c I assume it's in a 3 series sedan, mine says "7er" and last time I checked it was an X5 and not a 7 series, though I suppose I could be wrong.

7er is simply default, an indication that the coding has been reset (maybe after a sW update) or the nav has never been coded
