Help With Newbie!!
 

Sorry to not get this through my thick skull but,
I d/l'd v32 i could not get it to work at all nothing happens.... (DVD-r or CD-r) and how do i check my Version, I am guessing that i have an older version due to the non-dissapearing warning.
I also d/l'd 2009.1 said i needed to power off and wait 5 min, so i did and then got a DVD read error.
bought new DVD-r's nothing (Not DL)
I have a 2006 550i with front loading DVD,
any thoughts... help?

Dave, welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you have the PRO system (not the high), so you cant update the OS yourself, it's dealer only and you have loaded the HIGH disc not the NA 2009-1 PRO.

I am in DSM IA and the dealer looked at my like i was crazy when i asked about an upgrade:) I will walk down that ave one more time!!!

Hmm, not sure what aDSM IA is mate, but dealers are rubbish at this sort of thing.

Only thing I can is welcome to the forum as of the DVD-rs, CD-rs, ccfj1 said it better!
