Green tint on Nav Screen

Hi All
I have an '04 X5 3.0i with Nav. Recently, my screen have been displaying a green tint over the map display. It was intermittent at first then have become the predominant condition. I can still read the maps under the green tint so it is not affecting the display of the streets and icons.

Sometimes, it switches back to the normal gray/blue screen but I am not sure what causes this to happen.

I installed a copy of V31 to see if it was the software but no change.

Has anyone had an experience with this condition?
Do you think it is in the screen or the hardware that drives the screen display? (I hope it is not the screen display assy/ it cost as much as the Nav system!)

check your video signal wires (RGsB) and make sure all contacts are solid. It maybe that your Red or Blue lines are coming in and out.

check all the pins, especially the middle 3 pairs on the blue connector of your main harnessthat plugs into the back of your navigation unit and your board monitor.

both. wait for the nav in the boot to completly shut down, then pull it out and unplug the blue connector and check the pins. plug it back and see if the issue is resolved. If not, then pull the board monitor out and do the same thing.
