Help with iDrive
 

I recently sold my X5 and bought a 2005 545i with iDrive (non Nav). I having a hard time finding some answers to concerns I have with my iDrive version.

1. The car won't recognize MP3 CD's (even though the manual states the single disc player will recognize compressed audio CD's).

2. The background screen is brown and I've read there is an update that changes the color to silver.

I want to make sure my iDrive is updated with the newest version. Can I get an update through my CPO warranty?
