blank tv screen

hi guys, on my e39 2002 tv screen went blank and the radio controls only worked from the steering wheel controls i disconnected the battery and now the controls work on tv screen but still a blank screen. now the battery keeps draining overnight, i've changed the sat nav computer to the mk4 dvd but its still not working. anyone out there that knows wot it could be.

Do you have a TV tuner? It could be bad. You can inset the blue connecter from the tuner into the nav to test if there is a video signal.

I've had this fault on my X5 which occurs once you have disconnected the battery, once I reconnected a good fully recharged battery, I removed the three fuses which supplies this unit as well as the two relay blocks. Then refitted them all and it all power up ok (fingers crossed)! I knew when my screen went blank you knew it was still receiving power as it would flicker when the ignition was first switched on!
