Just buy an authentic disk. That will work fine.

DO YOU THINK MY UNIT WILL ACCEPT DVDS

Based on the year of your car and the fact that your nav computer has the "DVD" logo on its face, it should read map DVDs. Make sure that you buy the "High" version of the map disk. There are two different types of map disks, and the "Professional" DVD is for a different BMW nav system that is not compatible with your car.

I DOWLOADED PROF. MAPS I THINK THATS WHY ITS NOT WORKING

IF I DOWNLOAD HIGH MAPS DO YOU THINK IT WILL WORK?

I am an intellectual property guy at heart, so I would suggest that you buy the High version. That is guaranteed to work.
