Want to make a few dollars? [not spam]

Im trying to get the ///M Logo on my navi screen. I updated my nav using the
following link.
http://www.e38.org/nav/v22_1_CloneCD.rar

Can someone remove the BMW image and replace it with the ///M logo so that it can display the ///M logo on my screen with MKIII? Im not very experienced in
this area. Im willing to paypal a couple of bucks to whoever can add that image and either host the file or email it back to me personally. Ive tried
downloading a bulkload of versions that claim to have the logo on it, but Ive bricked my system dozens of times because I think the update was for the MKIV.

When I downloaded the original link and made the cd using clone cd it worked like a charm. The updated v32 version for MKIII using imageburn hasnt been successful at all. Id like to keep the file the same way it originally was but with a different image ( ///M logo) inside of it. This way I can use clone cd the way I updated my nav originally.
Thanks a lot in advance. Ive been trying for over a month to do this and Ive wasted hours and hours on my days off and spent a lot of money buying different brands of blank cds to do this :(

I really like this one since its big.

Here you go mate FOC

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Mk3 only, nightmode and mode2/form1

Download, unzip, then open imgburn, and select the "write image file to disc" then select the ***.nrg (i think) file.

Select the write speed as the slowest rated speed for the disc, you must do this and then burn on a good quality cd.

When its finished writing your new firmware cd,
Go to the car open the drivers door,
Go to the nav computer and press eject on drive,
Eject the map disc,
Switch ign to pos 1, leave door open.
Insert firmware disc into drive, follow instruction on nav screen.
Wait (approx 6 mins) till sat nav asks to eject cd and reboot.
Eject cd, and remove from drive
Confirm reboot.

That's it.

Do not switch off ignition or close the door when doing the upgrade.

THIS IS FOR THE MK3 ONLY, NOTHING ELSE.

Ok. I just tried it a few times through imageburn. I made the disc at 1x speed, 4x speed and my MKIII drive keeps rejecting the disc. Im going to try roxio because a few guys made their update cd using that. It was successful with clone cd for another update, but not imageburn. Wish me luck.

DO NOT USE x1, use the slowest that the disc is rated for, if thats x8 then use x8.

Good luck.

The label on the discs say 1x-4x. I purchased them because it said 1x on it. Name brand: Sony. Ill try it again using a faster speed.

OK, let imgburn detect and select then try that, I didn't know you could get x1 these days :)

Its burning on MAX speed as we speak. Imageburn is telling me that its currently burning at 4.0x. When I had it set to 1x it was telling me the same thing. Perhaps I have my Imageburn program setup incorrectly?

DROPTOPKINGM3 09-21-2010 11:28 AM

Tried it on max speed and my MKIII still rejects the disc :( Ill try roxio now. Ive done this before using clone cd and it worked like a charm. Only I wasnt able to get the ///M logo. I have a feeling that its the imageburn program. I have 4 cd's left in this 50 pack lol

Ouch, if you run out, pm me your address and i'll put one in the post mate.

Ok. Thanks buddy. Ill let you know. I might have to go that way. I was able to find that file you send me in CLONE CD but my free version expired (thats how long ive been trying to do this lol). Im gonna try doing it on a different computer and report back.
