Nav disk question

I just purchased a used E53 2005 X5, I have been pouring over these pages trying to find update information on the Nav unit. I think I have figured out the .v32 is the correct firmware. I am sure it is here somewhere but I can't find out what the most current map disk is can someone let me know what the BMW part number is or navteq disk part number? It appears I have an MK4 nav system.

Thanks

james

Looks like I found the answer sorry.. The 65 90 2 199 841 is the most current I could find.

Yes. And make sure that when you buy the DVDs for your NAV, they are 'High' series. I bought 2011 version but they were 'Professional' series. Buy original only as the copies won't work, most of the times.

Also, upgrade your NAV firmware for the 3D perspective. Costs $8 at your dealer and well worth it.

$8 is the approx. cost of the Ver.32 OS disk. Go to menu and settings and read the upper right corner of the screen. Ver 32 gives 4-1/00 the newest (4-1/100). I have posted the disk P/N here before.
