Hey Guys .... you all have been great with my newly acquired X5. I have a mk4 nav unit in my 04 4.4i. I know there a bunch of threads on here, but could someone direct me towards the best and easiest way to upgrade the software on my unit.

Also - where is a good place to get a new map disc as my mps are outdated as well.

To upgrade the OS go to the dealer and spend the $9:00 for the OS upgrade disc. then proceed as follows. Check the link for further info
3 steps:
1. Remove any map disc from nav
2. Insert OS disc
3. Follow on-screen instructions

Caution:
Car battery must be in good condition
Leave key in Pos1 until update is finished
