Need Help: Navigation/Radio 16:9 Screen Rolling/Scrolling
 

I upgraded my 4:3 system to a 16:9 and a MK4 about 2 years ago and it has been working well until tonight.

The screen, no matter what mode (radio, computer, nav) rolls in all directions, fast and slow, left/right/diagnal. It still works as I can see it tracking as I go down the highway/street. I kicked the nav DVD out and it still sat there scrolling/rolling with the computer screen up.

Any ideas from the nav-masters out there? Thanks.

I had this on a screen that I had.

It is the screen itself mate, the LCD panel has some adjustment pots on the back (you will need to strip down the LCD panel).

You might be able to find the correct one to stop the scrolling (they are not labelled BTW), there are about 8-10 pots that control all the screens adjustment, it will be one of them.

You will need to have the panel connected to the system to find the correct pot and with it stripped down that's not as easy as it sounds.

Personally I would buy a new (ebay) screen and replace it, then you can fix the one you have at your leisure.
