My nav computer ('04 4.4 made in August)was recently replaced under warranty at the dealership due to it telling me my location was 50 miles away from where I really was. When I got the vehicle back, when you get below 1 mile on the scale, it reads out in yards? Is there a way to correct this? The old computer read out in feet.

Only way to correct this is to have the dealer recode the unit to USA mode.

There are several advantages to it being in the mode it currently is in, though:

- No accept screen
- You get the Route Magnet feature

I didn't even notice the accept screen not being there. That is a nice feature.

What is the route magnet?

Route magnet lets you use a cursor to point to a different area that you want the guidance system to route you through in lieu of the currently planned route.
