Please Help get disk out of MKIV

Hi Guys,

I have read through most sections however I have a problem I cannot solve.

I currently have a mini using the save navigation system as the BMW. I had made the common fault of changing the battery and now my Nav is stuck on please Wait :(.

I have created a V32 disk to install however on my MKIV unit the light just stays red and it is not possible to eject the disc. I have tried holding the button and it does not flash. And I have also taken the battery out and tried to repower it that way.

Do you have any other ways I could eject the CD?

You can remove the disc mechanically. It has been written up a few times on the forums. Do a search here or on bimmerboard. I have done it a few times on various units.

try removing power from the nav. then plug back in wait a minute then disconnect battery. then reconnect and see what ahppens.
