MKIV does not remember settings?
 

Hello experts,
I bought X3 E83 recently (sa609 navigation), so i'm a newbie to the mkiv navigation computer and I got a situation to solve:
everytime i start the car (position 1 or 2) i have to customize my desired settings: split screen setting; colour from standard to black; language from NL to GB and to turn the perspective mode via service menu. These settings survive for a short period of time (approx up to 3 a minutes) after I turn off the engine and then resets back to basics. Questions:
1. Is it a regular functioning of the mkiv nav computer and I have to configure those settings using navcoder or dealer services to have the desired settings as a default (remembered) settings?/Are there any other solutions/workarounds?
2. If not, what might be wrong with the computer/memory/etc.?

All other settings - clock, date, music settings, radio stations, fuel consuption measurements, etc.. do not reset and works fine.
I tried upgrading to v32 10.01, downgrading to v32 10.00 - didn't help.
I tried to set everything with the key in position 1 and kept the key in the igntition lock for a while after turning the ignition off - didn't work.
Any other suggestions?
