I know there's a couple of Sox fans around here somewhere - c'mon guys! Weird, I really never hear too many Yankees fans talk about the Sox SWEEPING them in the series. Not sure what to make of it, I guess, just kind of weird...

Let's talk about Bucky Effin Dent and Aaron Effin Boone

One of my favorite sports calls:

"DEEP TO LEFT!"

And it's only a sweep in a best of 7 if you win in 4, not 7.....

My cousin has a framed picture of that, signed by Mookie AND Buckner, he bought it at a charity auction. I hope that Buckner finds some solace/peace now that the Bosux have won a WS. He always denied that it bothered him much, but he is only human..... 1 play should not negatively define the frustrations of a franchise and fans, not fair to the player.
