Interesting. Dying to know more....
Sorry to say that Ive looked at a lot of copart auctions and it ALWAYS seemed like these were deals for on-line suckers once all the knowledgeable folks had passed on the wreck. |

I guess you can put me on that list but generally it is not so bad, car tapped in the rear.. Requires bumper, lower trunk gate and plastic box that battery resides in, few more plastic pieces, nothing major.. As far as how bad or not the damage is (between what is visible and how much of the damage was not shown/visible) I was not wrong.. The problem lays in copart itself, thet treat cars in their posession like sh#@, mine was vindilized.. So if anyone decides to take this road, make sure you see that particular vehicle, take a lot of pictures.... Good thing that they are a nationwide company, since they have offices in NY, I can take them to small claim court in NY, 2 repair estimates, some forms and $20 - all it takes, just about.

You will need to read the paperwork you signed when the car was delivered CAREFULLY.
These docs usually include a damage waiver that absolves the seller/shipper/handlers of any and all liability the instant the purchaser signs the documents and takes possession of the vehicle. Translation, any damages found after buyer signs is the buyers problem.
