Today, I picked up a Jura Impressa F9. It's a BEAST of a coffee machine (pump based, not steam of course). It cost me $2900, however I think it's worth every cent.

I'll post pictures once I've installed the thing in my old kitchen (will move it to the new kitchen next month when they start installing the kitchen cabinets).

The F9 is designed and made in Switzerland, and makes any coffee, hot chocolate or tea that you can think of. It's also connectable to your PC by USB for diagnotistics, and it's also connectable by RJ45 network cable to the internet, so that it can be diagnosed remotely by Jura. Hehehehe

Damn, for that kind of money it make me glad I'm not a coffee drinker

Well Jeff, the type of machines that Starbucks uses are the manual ones, and actually they don't cost more than this one, although they are bigger.

This is one of those "automatic" ones, since I am incompetent as to making coffee (I admit). The front of the machine is made of real chrome. Hhahaha maybe one day I should treat anyone who comes to an X5 meet here in the igloo nation.

I can appreciate a good coffee system, trust me.
This is the one my wife and I are getting for our new house.

Neat stuff! I have actually seen that Miele model live, and it has very clean design lines. It's a very high quality piece of machinery as good as mine, or exceeding it.

There is only one problem with both of our machines...you can't get yourself to stop "testing" it through making yourself 3 coffees in 1 hour.

Post some pics when you get that kitchen up and running along with that Miele beast!

Glad I am not a coffee drinker. Does it come with VR module? Where it serves the coffee at your desk on voice command. Let the mods begin.

That would be a toal waste of VR capabilities. Maybe you program it so that Katherine Zeta Jones -- wearing nothing but her silk nightgown -- brings you a freshly brewed cup of coffee in bed. Now, THAT'S VR!!

Did someone mention coffee, this is my baby, "The Gaggia Titanium Espresso Machine". For all you slackers out there, this is the real deal ($1700). She sleeps downstairs, but there is a cappacino waiting for me in the morning, every morning, every week, ALWAYS. Use Illy Beans.
