Unhappy So tired....

Man it's Friday night and I don't have the energy to do anything other than maybe grab a movie, stay home and watch it. I'm starting to think that it was a bad idea to stay an extra semester for my internship/co-op. Missin my friends bad. It's kinda wierd that this routine during the week will in fact become permanent from the time I graduate college until I retire. I sure hope I love my job/future jobs when I'm done with undergrad.

Welcome to the thing we call "Life!" It sucks! Just be glad you're able to stay up to watch that movie...most of us would fall asleep before it even starts!

It's all worth it. The work you're putting in now will enable you to kick back later on when it's worth it. When you graduate from undergrad with some real world practical experience under your belt you will be miles ahead of the game and better positioned to get a job. Your friends who aren't getting practical experience but are having fun will be hurtin' when they try to get that elusive first job with only a piece of parchment and a bright smile. Hang in there!

I highly recommend that after a long day... go for a run! great way to unwind and clear your mind/destress.. good way to bring up energy level before getting a good nights rest. key is to work hard AND play hard!

BTW.. not to be grim or anything but there is no such thing as the perfect job.. they don't call it a "job" or "work" for nothing...there will always be days when you're getting your ass kicked and you think that no amount of $$ will make this worthed...

I used to do exactly that when I was doing my masters.

Welcome to my world. You undergrad days are absolutely the most carefree and relaxed days you will EVER have in your life, short of retirement maybe (I'm not quite there yet, so I can't speak to that). Enjoy them while you can.
