Grammy Awards Show Question

I watched the Grammy Award show last night, (very enjoyable and well done, considering the menu and time constraints), and was wondering if anyone knew the IDs of two performers I saw:

-it was during the Sly Stone medley, cover deal: a tall, very fine, exotic looking woman, (non Anglo I think), with a black mini dress was singing and a good looking anglo guy, 7 day beard, in a suit coat, was singing along with her, playing the guitar. They were both very good and very "different". I suspect they were "team up" for their 40 second bit, as opposed to being a duo, normally. Any ideas?

I dug through the Yahoo Grammy pics but could not find either one.

Yeah, I know it sounds like I'm having a People Mag withdrawl moment,

Maybe a better site to dig through or some guesses?

MD,

The chick was Ciara. She is an R&B artist. She sang "Goodies" and "1,2 Step". The guy (i think) was Adam Levine the lead singer for Maroon 5. That Sly tribute was great.

Don't know who the guy was, but I think the girl was Ciara. She is very hot and its a new look for her. She's won quite a few awards herself over the last couple of years (R&B) and she's currently dating Bow-Wow.

Thanks, R8DX5 and pseto!

That was a hot "duo",imo.

I saw Sly and the FamStone a couple of times live...I guess Sly was doing his best under ill health, last night.

Having not really seen the Grammy Awards in years, I parked my fanny and watched it all. It was very well done, imo, though the lead vocal mics were a tad soft in many group situs. The CEO, not a real fan of current music, was away at friend's Mem-Guest deal, so I got to watch it without an arm wrestle...looked very good in the 1080 HD feed on the Sony,NoBaloney 60", too! Jeessh, I liked all the groups and stuff; maybe I'm regressing. I gotta give Beethoven some time outta rotation and get hip again, .
Thanks, Maties.

Edit: I looked at the Ciara site, but I don't think that was her; she looked a Lot diff last night, (the woman I was referring to). Dunno...the guy was def. the Maroon 5 singer. Still confused on the woman...

Yeah what's up with Ciara dating a midget named Bowwow? She's beautiful and a great singer as well.

She didn't look anything at ALL like herself... I think she has matured a bit, and the hair being pulled back is what made her look so different...

And well BowWow, ya know what they say about midgets!!! lol I kid, I kid... its all about the bling

The funny part, other than he's outgrown his name, is when you see them together. she's like a foot taller than him (like he's on his hindlegs ).

The Grammys were pretty good in HD; I just wish everything was in HD!!

It was definitely one of the better Grammy shows that I've seen. I liked all the different collaborations. The Jay-Z, Linkin Park and Paul McCartney was nice. The U2 & Mary J. Blige was good. The Mariah performance started out a bit shaky but she pulled it out in the end. All in all it was a good show. She may have looked different last night but that was definitely Ciara.

Yes, now I get it: did some oogling on the Yahoo Grammy Site looking at vids and stuff. (How fooking old did I say I was, )

It showed her walking around the Garden before the show and it was her.

Not a stalker, just thought she & the Maroon guy were an unusual but, cool duo.

I grew up with the fookin Beatles; I love the Beatles...Note to Sir Paul: buy some heavy hands or do a little lifting of sumpin'; your "softer side" is more evident by the day. Jeessh, this getting older deal is an inexorable Erosion Process.
Liked the HelterSkelter effort, though.

I like that line.

Of course, it doesn't apply to me.
