What would you do if you won?
The ticket holder has the option of taking the money in one lump sum or installments over 30 years. The cash option is $177.8 million, or $124.46 million after taxes. On the installment plan, the first payment would be $6,507,986 after taxes. Suppose it was you who won the PB. Your monthly income is now $542,332.17 AFTER TAXES for the next 360 months. We know you're going to buy new homes for yourself, your parents, and the in-laws, travel the world, put the kids through school, buy a Lambo, feed the homeless, and rebuild New Orleans. But what unheard of thing would you do with the money? I have no clue what I would do other than all the usual things - I'd have to give me own question some thought.

I'd take the lump sum, invest most of it in low-risk funds and gather up some other VCs and buy a blowtorch radio station, hire all my former bosses, then fire them at the first annual Holiday party.

My Plan:
The first thing I would pay is 10% to my church, next take half of what's left and invest, in what I don't know. But I definetly would invest.
The other half I would spend and share with family members first and then friends.

Only one ticket won. Hopefully it's one of you. Talk about being set for life. One thing that I would do if I won that I can't do now is fly into space. At $200K per person, it'll be a while before I could afford to take a trip like that with my fiancee. And the $20 million to go to the space station, don't know if I would do that even if I did win.

Put my brother & (2) sisters with me on the winning ticket so it would be split 4 ways
- take the lump sum  - donate to my college BIG $ - invest (because I can make more than what they would give me on the installment plan) - give to my friends and other relatives (money is like manure, if you don't spread it around to help things grow, it's just one big pile of sh*t) - build my own home here in Idaho (along with alot of land) - custom build a P-car to handle my 42" headroom?... Nah.   Get a X5 4.8 without a sunroof and let Bav Sound go wild with it?...Maybe. Tough choice, because that would mean giving up one of the X5s I have.
