Audi A4?

I am looking at a Audi A4 to replace my Golf TDI. I drove the Golf for a year and the trade is 1000$ less than what I paid for it new. They have a nice 2002 A4 1.8T there with 50K miles. Anyone have any thoughts on the A4??

its nicer than the golf but not my favorite car. My wife has an A6 and the only thing i like about it is the quattro system.

I don't know I would buy an audi with 50k miles. I was looking at an S4 and the dealer told me I had to lease it because I had no choice but to get rid of it before the warranty ran out.

quite like the a4 avant 1.8t we had , replaced it with the x5

Ours had the triptronic gearbox was very nice to drive and also was quite loaded with extras .
Wife preferred the audi to the x5 but i would put that down to size and she's getting used to it now

Was going to put the full sport kit on her before we decided to change

here's a pic of her on 19's

Replace the A with a S and you'd be in good shape.

Kids only in the back seats

As long as you don't need to use the rear seats for passengers, it's a nice care. I tried sitting in one at the dealer once, after adjusting the driver's seat to my liking, and I couldn't get my legs into the car (I'm 6'1", so it shouldn't have been a problem).
