Having had a dozen medium to close calls with deer, it is the m'cycle rider's number one paranoia out on the 2 lane blacktop boonie runs.
Whew, that gave me pause.

I *always* slow down when I see a deer by the side of the road like that - man that must have hurt, they were going at a relatively good pace
