New MB CL coupe and AMG spy shots

Engines will be available in a range from a V6 3.7 litre to the V12 4.0 litre fuel units, and possibly also for the coupe a V6 3.2 litre diesel and a V8 4.0 litre diesel. The top of the line model is going to be the AMG version powered by a 6.3 litre V12 delivering over 600 HP. The photos are showing two more latest pictures of the AMG version in cold weather testing.
The new CL is scheduled for release in December 2006, the CL AMG is for launch some time later

Thanks for the pics LeMans!! I love me some AMG........I test drove the E55 a few weeks ago and it simply blew me away. To this day, it is the best car I've ever driven.......hands down. I was using the button shifters and couldn't even get it past 3rd gear and I was going 110 - then it got too crowded and I couldn't go more - too much traffic. It seemed like it happened in about 3 seconds........

Not yet........Hopefully very soon I will drive one. I would love to. I just read a great article in Motor Trend where they put the M5 and the CLS 500 AMG up against each other. Was a good match up and good read..........

That thing is hot! I'm guessing the V6 = CL350, V8 = CL500 and the V12 = CL65.

SANguru, I agree w/you that it looks too plain........I love the older CL class (just before the latest '05 style).......it is just so classy and that style will last for years down the road.........

My favorite M.B. class out right now is the E Class (other than the SL and McClaren, of course). It is just beautiful inside and out. The interior is just awesome........I like it a lot better than the new BMW interiors.
The new 3 series just doesn't feel German enough on the inside.......

yup.. the SL, E and the SLK, and the last generation S are my favorites. My neighbor has a SLR and I just do not like the proportions on it.. The hood is way to long and the wheels are just plain ugly (but could be easily fixed).
