Now that is funny.
Yah and let me see you shove 25 bags of concrete, a ladder and a toolbox in the M5

Yes.......I can't wait to test drive one of those SRT-8's! The local dealer is supposed to call me as soon as they get one in here........
Better than Cayenne Turbo performance at half price......hehehehe. That's what Motor Trend said. I really like the guages on that thing - that little blue ring looks good......

What you should like is the available 75,000/7-year warranty.

1. how much are the dealerships asking when u order for the srt 8 assuming that most options are interior(navigation) 2. do u know if they are heavy enuff(+6000lbs) to qualify for the 179 code(self employed) My local dealer had never seen one and seemed a little clueless on availability, options and price. |

that was funny ... along with the comically high number of typos that m5 board members seem to make; i seriously had a tough time deciphering some of that stuff lol.
on another note, wow, so most of you here would seriously entertain one of the jeeps? i dunno ... i just DO not like american cars: the fit/finish, the quality, etc, leaves SO much to be desired. that said, for those of you who read about my x5 being in the shop for the coolant issue and how my loaner car is an x3, no offense to x3 owners out there but i find it to feel PARTICULARLY cheap and plasticky. i'm really quite disappointed. and before people start going off about cars like the Z06 (for its class); the Neon SRT-4 (for its class); the "Baby Bentley" 300C (for what it's accomplished!) -- I recognize they are all good cars in their own right, considering dollar value, etc. I'm STRICTLY talking of what i mentioned above: fit/finish and quality. as an example, and to be fair, let's face it: sit in the new Acura RL -- the interior of that thing BLOWS AWAY any BMW currently in production and quite frankly, rivals most current mercedes in my opinion. Moreover, the japanese have it down for ergonomic design and intuitive control layout. When I compare my 2001 X5 nav system to a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL nav system, i can't help but laugh. Nonetheless, there are *VERY* few cars on the road for which I'd consider saying goodbye to my X5. *VERY* few. And there isn't a single japanese car for which I'd do it lol.

I talked to a dealer up the street about one a while back. They are leaving the showroom fully loaded (20's/Nav/etc.) for around $47,000.00. I was shocked I actually asked the guy "so you're saying that I can take one out of here for $47,000?" His reply, just add the tax in and if you want to extend to a 7yr/70K warranty (which is only 1800.00).
Not bad when your closest competition, according to Forbes, is: * BMW X5 * Land Rover Range Rover Sport * Mercedes-Benz ML-Class * Porsche Cayenne Curb Weight: 4,788 lbs. GVWR: 6,150 lbs

the 179 deduction is 25k(assuming 100% business use) the first year and there is actually no limit to how often u can buy a new "company" car...SO i actually buy a new company car every 2 years even tho my accountant cringes every time and says it has to be 100% business use..
