Well.......we originally bought the X5 for my wife. I fell in love with it and "stole" it from her after 2 weeks. She felt it was too "big" feeling for her (she's 5 feet tall) and doors felt too heavy........She test drove the ML500 and loved it (and I loved the engine) - got a great deal - was an '02 with only 15,500 miles........gas mileage sucks, so I put it up for sale and I found her the '05 ML 350 Special Edition with only 9,100 miles - better gas mileage (not by much), but she plans on keeping it for a while......
I drive my Jeep G.C. for work & my X5 for pleasure when the weather is nice (only been sprinkled on once since 7/23/05 when I bought it)........ That about sums it up.............I guess..........
