i wanna see a high performance version... the end to messing with air temps and nails in the tires could be here at last!

I've been wondering when someone is gonna take the sphere shape and make that into a wheel/tire. Drive shafts and braking would have to be reimagined but think about the cornering!

Less waste in the long run...no more blow outs...they should use that on 18 wheelers. I have been a bit closer than I would like for a couple of blowouts.

I hope they come to market soon. They would be so much safe than what we have now for tires

What happens in wet freezing conditions when ice builds up in the chambers? Posted on www.jalopnik.com a while back. Interesting but takes some getting used to, visually, IMO.

I wonder if they'd make low-profile tires, and how they would look.

Just like the Audi's in I-Robot

Parking would be a breeze too, just slide in sideways

I have to wonder what plastic the Tweel's spokes are made of and how well it "ages"?. I wouldn't like to find out it becomes brittle after 3 years of Arizona sun and is then moved down south into -20* winter temps for the first time in its life!.

I think the final ones will have sidewalls when they go to market. They will probably look just like regualer tires. I think they just show then exposed with out sidewalls just to show people how it works.
