She is just mad that some lowly cop didn't recognize her or her ego. "Face recognition"? It's more like "you don't know who I am???". Unfortunately some opportunistic people will take an incident like this and blow it totally out of proportion to further their own ends.

Even more unfortunately, much of society has been conditioned to react this way. For example, I was involved in talking to a young Hispanic girl who is involved in gang activity. Never once was race, ethnic origin, nationality or anything remotely close mentioned. When she was told that gang activity wasn't going to be tolerated she screamed "you're all being racist".

Not trying to put blame on/wash blame off anyone here, but Tom Joyner was just saying Thursday morning on the radio that compared to her "Class Picture" from the Congressional Directory, she was unrecognizeable. He and the co-hosts of his show mentioned a new hairdo and possibly some makeup/plastic surgery.

I also don't know who touched/hit who first, but I pretty much know from experience that you don't hit a member of law enforcement in this type of situation.

If you're equipped between the ears with the kind of data banks that can memorize and categorize every face of every Representative in the House, yo ass needs to be curing HIV or cancer, not being a Capitol Policeman. It's kinda ridiculous that they'd expect their officers to do that.

I agree w/ Kevin. Ego is a root cause here, not racism. I've seen ego get in the way of things professionally, politically and socially just as much as money or power would.
