Blue Screen of Death on Apple

http://www.dealcatcher.com/forums/m_402248/tm.htm

With pleasure, I see the beginning of the death of Apple (at least the hardware side of it).

Just wait till we start running OS X on PCs. The hardware part of Apple will be dead.

Yes, just like you can get a iPod for Windows or OS X, the next thing will be would like your Apple Power Book Pro to be with Windows or OS X?

Actually, OS X may end up with a smaller share of the market. There are few software/application supporting OS X hence the reason for the "boot camp" for Apple-Tel computers.

Bavarian - Wake up. People are already running Mac OSX on their Windows PC for a while now.

I actually think it's a great idea. I carry two laptops around: my powerbook for my personal things, and my hideous Dell for work. Now (or soon, anyway), I'll be able to have both OS in one machine. I like it. You don't HAVE to install Windows; this just gives you the option to do that. If anything, it will increase Apple's market share. The make superior hardware and software; now, if corporate America wants to upgrade to Macs and run Windows on them, they can.

Ah yes another Mac hater. So much negative energy spent on unrealistic expectations. But don't hold your breath waiting for the death of Apple. Exhale and enjoy the ride. And as someone said "Man, is there an echo here? That news (Just wait till we start running OS X on PCs. The hardware part of Apple will be dead) is more than 24 hours old". In fact it's years old and the Mac is still rolling. People don't even debate this issue any longer they just find the hardware they need and keep on truckin. Mac, Pc, take your pick. It's all good.

Apple could dominate the PC market, as well as the OS market. Anyone that says otherwise doesnt know what theyre talking about. Apple owns a 80-90% share of the mp3 player and mp3 market. Both of which are nearly commodity markets; and they dont do it with dirty tactics like M$.
